About Ross Woodhall

I started taking pictures professionally back in 1993 and over the years my work has taken me to some of the world's finest locations, from the glaciers of Alaska to fly fishing in the heat of Cuba. Skidooing in the Swedish Arctic to Heliskiing in New Zealand. Initially I was purely a ski photographer, but over the years my work has drifted towards lifestyle photography and lifestyle sports photography. I have worked for many different clients along the way, shooting advertising, editorial or promotional images. I was senior photographer and photo editor at Fall Line Magazine for 8 years and I was a contracted photographer with The North Face clothing company for 4 years. I finance a lot of my own work shooting winter sports, lifestyle and lifestyle sports images, which are distributed through a global network via Getty Images and Cultúra Images.
